François J. Roman served as the VP R&D at Euroscreen since 2004. Previously, he was Director of HTS and Assay Development at Pfizer PGRD France. Prior to this position at Pfizer, François J. Roman was the Head of Molecular Pharmacology at Parke-Davis France, Director of Biochemistry Department at Jouveinal Laboratoires, France, and Head of Neurochemistry unit at Laboratoires Servier, France where he started his career. During more than 25 years, F.J. Roman has been involved in many Drug Discovery programs and has managed various projects in a broad range of therapeutic areas including metabolic, CNS, gastrointestinal, pulmonary and inflammatory diseases. F.J. Roman holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Paris VI, France and has more than 40 publications and 35 patents.
F.J. Roman may help you in managing your Drug Discovery programs. He can identify the best studies needed for characterizing your compounds and coordinating the studies performed in the best laboratories. Furthermore, he may help you in preparing your Research programs at the level of the EC (FP7) or Biowin in putting together the appropriate partnership and taking care of the management of the project.
