Clinical Pharmacology Unit

General presentation

Specific building of 1150 m², fully equipped to perform phase 1 and phase 2 clinical studies, located within the 635-bed Academic Hospital of Liège, CHU Sart Tilman with :
- inpatient area with 30 permanent beds specifically devoted to clinical trials (including a special room of 6 beds with intensive care monitoring) - outpatient area with all facilities for efficient recruitment and follow-up visits (medical offices, EKG room, blood sampling room, etc.) - specifically equipped rooms for galenical preparation, sample handling, archives, etc. - high standard of security for volunteers, material and documents (controlled access to the clinical pharmacology unit, interphone central unit, temperature alarm, etc.) - highly qualified, dynamic and well-experienced multidisciplinary team including clinical research organisators, medical doctors, nurses, dietician, etc. - independent quality assurance manager (according to GLP and GCP recommendations)
