ARESA proposes a validated training for investigators and the investigation sites staff.
This training is given in association with Pharmed and is based on the guidelines by the European Science Foundation in July 2003.
Theoretical lessons are illustrated by exercises and teamwork. They are given by Research industry members, experienced investigators, university professors and trainers specialised in human relationships.
Any request from group of investigators is welcome.
The basic training is split in 5 units, given either during a whole weekend or 2 saturdays. It covers :
- The Good clinical Practices, legal angle.
- The methodology of clinical trials.
- The practical methods.
- The critical reading of scientific litterature and study protocols.
- The relationship doctor-patient in the frame of research.
Further trainings are also possible :
- The relationship doctor-research subject.
- The Evidence Based Medicine and the critical reading of scientific litterature.
Upon request, you can benefit from a personal coaching during the first trial visit, from the presence of an experienced investigator or from a phone aid.
A continuing education is proposed as a yearly symposium open to all investigators.
