Who are we?

MITECH stands for « Cluster Micro-Technologies for Intelligent Manufacturing & Products »; it is a Walloon cluster, approved by the Walloon Government in November 2007.

The cluster gathers more than 103 members: Enterprises, Research Centers, Centers of Excellence, and other partners.

Members are active in the fields of micro and nanotechnologies, in mecatronics and in Intelligent Manufacturing.

The cluster was created by the merger of a MicroTechnology group and an Intelligent Manufacturing group.

Our ambition

Our ambition is to promote and increase the use of microtechnologies in the Walloon Region, to help our members to develop micro and nanotechnologies as well as Intelligent Manufacturing and mecatronics and therefore increase their industrial activity, by means of partnerships through innovative projects.

What is the perimeter of thecluster ?

Keywords : Microtechnologies, Mecatronics, Intelligent Manufacturing and Nanotechnologies.

The activities of the cluster include:

- The various disciplines of micro technologies (namely: micro mecanics, micro optics, la micro electronics, microinjection, micro fluidics, computer science, micro systems, etc..)

- and nanotechnologies

as well as other industrial disciplines using micro technologies, such as:
